If u haven’t checked out Tortilla Jack’s Sunday taco special, you definitely should! For me & my fam as well as a lot of other people IK it’s almost like a tradition to grab a big of them every Sunday. They feature tacos (soft tacos not included) for a much lower price on this day of the week. Their new location was a good move for them! A modern look of fresh paint did wonders for the building they are now located at (21st & Buchanan area) and they even have a small outdoor eating patio with matching picnic tables!
Friendly staff. Fast service. Food was really good. The chili and cheese covered burrito was really good. The taco burger was just like the way Taco Tico used to do back in the day. Very pleased with this outing.
To all my La Tiara taco shell fans.....this is your answer!!!!! We try to stop in here when we get close as we live over 2 hrs away ...first time we've been to the new location. Young crew working this evening and all were polite, great service. Food was just as great as always....love the burraco and the light, crispy hardshells. Tried the Jack Light for the first time...O.M.G. the fried softshell was the bomb. Bought plain hard shells to take home for making our own tacos....
Always a good experience, the food was super fresh and tasty the Burracos are a favorite along with the white queso and chips.

I have always loved the food here until the move. It seems like every time I go there now, The meat does not taste good. It tastes old and dry. I will keep going in hopes it gets back to where it once was!!
Reasonable sized portions, with good seasoning. Typical TexMex menu offerings. The staff is extremely friendly, and quite efficient. Probably the most telling thing I can say is that I usually eat at least one meal here each time I travel to Topeka, so obviously I do enjoy Tortilla Jack's.
Generous portion of meat on each taco. Fresh. Homemade. There is a little bit of a wait, but it is definitely worth it. We shared the 6 taco pack. Also had to wait for the drink to come out with the order. Delicious.
